Bought as a spare
Already had one but bought a second as a spare as often have to wash the original. They wash and dry really quickly. Quite thin as only 4.5tog but plan to put 2 together when weather gets colder.

A light duvet suitable for summer, or layer up with another for extra warmth during the winter. Some of the threading in the corner were loose, could do better, but looking at the price, is a good buy overall.

Disappointing summer duvet
Last December 2024 I bought a 10.5 double duvet from Habitat and I was very pleased with it so I had no hesitation in buying another of the same make, but this time a 4.5 tog in super rking size. I was very pleased with the quality and it is very comfortable but I personally, found it too warm for the warm summer nights this year. However, even before the request to write a review arrived, I noticed that some of the filling in the end channels had started to come away from the stitching leaving empty patches here and there and a thick wad at the ends. It has to be shaken every day. I think the problem is that the channels are far too wide,. and also it would be better if the they ran from top to bottom rather than side to side.

Great quality duvet, perfect tog for the summer, feels quite soft. I haven't yet washed it so can't comment on this yet.

Nice lightweight summer duvet
Great for warm weather. Nice and light and good construction with quality fabric. Looks like it will wash well unlike cheaper duvets which have covers that bobble when washed.

No this is 100% polyester, the ‘teabag texture’ being referred to is our home essentials range only.

Our supplier has advised that the Argos Home Supersoft Washable 4.5 Tog Duvet would have 2 stitch lines giving it 3 equal filling channels.

This can be line dried if you wish. We do state that it can be tumble dried but this does not mean it can only be tumble dried.
