Arrived broken. Head moved up and down the never mixing. There were grooves already in the metal where you attach the pasta attachment.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After much deliberation over which stand mixer to purchase I am very happy with my choice of the iconic Artisan Kitchen Aid with the extra bowl and accessories in onyx black to coordinate with my large open plan living / kitchen room. As it is standing in pride of place on my work surface, I wanted a more cohesive look to suit the room and consequently bought the black ceramic bowl really for show purposes (though quite happy to have a third mixing bowl should I need it). The black bowl is beautiful. Inside, the bowl matches the shine of the black mixer and the outside of the bowl is more of a satin anthracite colour which tones in beautifully with some of my cupboards and the overall look of the kitchen area. Excellent overall quality and well deserved of all the fabulous reviews the Kitchen Aid stand mixer generates. In terms of use, well I am a newbie and haven’t yet used all the implements, but really enjoying the results so far…..maybe a little too much!…..but its easy to use and all goes in the dishwasher for clean up. Price wise, yes its an expensive piece of kit….shop around to get the best price…..only time will tell if the maxim “you get what you pay for” remains to be true….I hope so as my teenage granddaughter has already called “dibs” on it for the future!

Gearing not working, replacement is inbound.
Gearing not working, returned for replacement. Brand new out of the box, main mixer worked, frontal attachment port did not work, have returned it, should have my replacement in a few days, will update my review accordingly.. Hopefully just a one off glitch.

Worth waiting for. Wanted a KitchenAid for many years and finally made the purchase. It’s a stunning appliance to have on the kitchen counter. Really inspired me to bake more straight from delivery. Beautifully made and hoping to enjoy for many many years to come
