Bought this a few months ago and it has been working well. Larger capacity than our previous shredder, handy to be able to see how full it is and emptying is very easy. Doesn’t seem to seize up like the previous one used to do so can do quite a lot of domestic shredding at a time.

Game Changer
Bought this two weeks ago and have used it every day since. It's proven a real game changer in allowing me to finally recycle bags of correspondence accumulated over many years that contain too many private details like bank statements and hospital letters to simply pop in the bin. We already had a shredder but at half the price of this one, was often prone to jamming and a capture basked that filled up too quickly. You know this machine is different by its weight alone and the built in handle is a welcome addition. I comfortably shred 2 or 3 pieces of A4 size at a time. I'm suspicious the machine suggests up to 12, so have not pushed it that far. There is a separate slot for CDs and Credit Cards which is very useful however I've found the scissors is still best to remove names from credit cards as the shredder merely cuts it in three, sometimes leaving name intact. CDs works well for destroying safely. There is an internal plastic container to seperate CD pieces from paper shreds. The attachment is quite flimsy but seems to do the job. It's a smart looking machine and sits conveniently in living room until work complete. All in all, the machine performs well. I use it in short bursts, allowing it to cool down but apparently a red light will glow if it overheats. A little and often seems to be the motto. I don't expect this type of machine to last for ever but it's made a huge difference to household paper decluttering and a major improvement over the less robust version I have given the volume of paper requiring shredding.

Pro Action Cross Cut Shredder
I purchased the shredder as a replacement for an earlier model. The shredder works reasonably well for heavy domestic use although like many of these things the shredder element will start to wear in time and hence the replacement. It is unlikely to find anything better in this price range and a necessity in this day and age.
