Does it's job well
Bought this to replace an old one that had given up. This one has a bit more grunt, taking more sheets at once but I don't give it too much in one go. Ran it for quite a while without overheating. Doesn't seem to have too much sticking in the cutters too.

Paper/disc shredder
Bought this a few weeks ago and so far it is doing the job of shredding paper and discs very well. The price is very good also. All in all a proving to be a great buy.

Total failure sfter just 3 weeks of light use
Within 3 weeks and with light domestic use, never more thsn 2-4 sheets of thin paper, and despite observing the 5 minute limit, then 30 minute cooling, the shredder has failed completely. Not a whimper from the motor. Troubleshooting steps have been followed, including changing the plug's 5A fuse but the Pro Action shredder is still totally broken. I cannot find the order number bur can prove payment. Can I still hsve a replacement or refund plesse ?

The duty cycle is approximately 2 minutes.
In the event of overheating a protection device is activated and you can resume in approximately 30 minutes.

Mine has overheated and cut out 4 times since purchase this afternoon. It is taking more than 30mins to restart. Runs about 15 mins before stopping and struggles to cut 10 A4 sheets so only feeding 5 or 6 at a time. It is very hot in the house which does not help but this will probably be returned to store tomorrow

I can advise that this Cross Cut Shredder has a duty cycle time of 2 minutes. If it overheats, it has a safety cut out time of 30 minutes.
