It’s a beast.
It’s a beast. Moving house so lots of old paperwork to shred. Our old one only took a couple of sheets at a time, filled up quick too as it wasn’t cross cut. This takes up to 10 sheets and and can do a cd if needed. Has a big bin and is crosscut so doesn’t fill up every couple of seconds.

I can't really fault this shredder other than to say that it's a little top-heavy, but I guess that would be the same with all shredders (?) . So far, so good. I would recommend it to anyone.

Good bin capacity and small shreads.
I replaced my old shredder with this one and I'm really happy with it. It's a little noisy but shreads very small pieces of paper. Ten sheets might push it a little it does slow down so putting two of five is quicker. I have also used it on CDs which it does with various degrees of success. After about 15 minutes it needs a rest but the bin will have been emptied twice . Very pleased with it overall at a good price for a domestic shredder.

Mine has overheated and cut out 4 times since purchase this afternoon. It is taking more than 30mins to restart. Runs about 15 mins before stopping and struggles to cut 10 A4 sheets so only feeding 5 or 6 at a time. It is very hot in the house which does not help but this will probably be returned to store tomorrow

I can advise that this Cross Cut Shredder has a duty cycle time of 2 minutes. If it overheats, it has a safety cut out time of 30 minutes.
