Decent budget shredder
I've had a fair bit of use out of this shredder so far and it's performed pretty well with no real issues. The only point I might ding it on is that it did overheat at one point (which was understandable and fine) but there's no visual indicator for when it's getting hot. The noise level may be a bit louder than some other models I've had in the past, but didn't seem bad.

About 5 papers became firmly stuck so the shredder is now useless and will have to be taken to the tip. £45 ish wasted and also time wasted using scissors to cut paperwork

Alot quieter
Works really well. It's the next size down from my old one and its alot quieter which is good. This a more personal problem as I only have one arm but the bigger one had a handle which meant I could lift it off and on with ease. No handle on this one so a complete ball ache for me but as I say a personal problem due to disability.

I bought this shredder last month - I'm delighted with it. It shredded a year backlog of bank statements, old appointment letters and various other private letters and information into tiny pieces which meant I could get rid of the paperwork securely. The shredder got me through this in the space of an hour. Since I was doing this in the evening it was important that the machine didn't disturb the rest of my household but this wasn't a problem as it was very quiet compared to a vacuum cleaner. It's also a much bigger container than my last shredder so not so many trips to the bin. Delighted!

Mine has overheated and cut out 4 times since purchase this afternoon. It is taking more than 30mins to restart. Runs about 15 mins before stopping and struggles to cut 10 A4 sheets so only feeding 5 or 6 at a time. It is very hot in the house which does not help but this will probably be returned to store tomorrow
