Fully functional, difficult to get full bag out
This bin looks good and works. It fits in my space and is suitable for families with a fair amount of waste. However, I still have to wipe the lid regularly as it gets messy. It is difficult to find the right bag because it has a ring liner to keep it in place. If you leave a small overlap so it stays, you cover the closure mechanism. I get around this by using pull ties so the tie goes where the clip is for closure. My biggest bugbear is the shape. The bin holds lots of rubbish, but most sacks are designed for round bins. As this one is not round pulling the bag often damaged it. I will probably replace it quite soon. I am glad it was on offer.

Absolutely excellent bin replacing an old Barbaranta one at far less cost, looks good, good capacity, just the fit I needed to maximise space too. Amazing sal price too. Highly recommend

Good value for the price
I've only been using this bin for a few weeks so I can only comment do far. The Curver bin is very sturdy and aesthetically pleasing. This press top latch is good although quite sensitive. Time will tell if the latch holds up over time, but as Curver has given a 5 year warranty I'm not worried. This product deserves a 5 star rating, but as it's early days I settled for a 4. I would recommend.

Looks good but a little flimsy
It looks good and is easy to clean and empty. Capacity is good, any bigger and I think the contents would start to smell. Iām not totally happy with the bin liner holder. This is not tight enough and a more secure way of attaching the liner to the bin would be preferred since the current one allows the bin liner to slip out of the holder as the contents increase.

A solution to this particular problem I found, is to make sure your bin bag completely covers the receiving pin on the body of the bin. If you place your bag around this pin or allow the pin to pierce the bag then this will allow the closure to fail and the lid to keep springing open.

The Curver 40 Litre Deco Touch Top Kitchen Bin, is a physical touch to open, on the top of the bin. This is not a sensor bin, that you wave in front of.

The bin liner attachment is actually fixed to the top lid and doesnt come out to help lift the bag out. It also pulls down when the bag is full and stops the lid closing properly and so it pops open ALL the time! Not a great design change!!
