Great to start with!
Doesn't sing the full nursery rhyme, just the first two lines. Was great to start with but now regularly faulting and singing the wrong rhyme after a month of use.

Musical Toy was a Great Hit
This was a present for my Great Great nephew who is just 2 yrs old. Judging by the number of times he dashed over to it to make it sing, I think he liked it. I certainly liked hearing the old nursery rhymes again. I am not sure he learned any but given time, providing it lasts, he may pick up some.

Granddaughter loves it!!
My 1 year old Granddaughter absolutely loves this book, she continually opens and closes and turns the pages to hea the music!! Just wish it sang more if the nurses rhymes instead of jus the first lines, by overall a good buy and it’s well used!!

I bought this for a 6 month old and it’s perfect! Colourful with lovely sounds, not too loud & made a wonderful gift! Would highly recommend as they can use as they get older too as they can then look at the drawings/read/sing the songs!

Closing the book turns the book off.
V Tech Customer Services told me that only the first TWO lines of each of the rhymes are sung by a lady with an English accent although the tune continues on in full. The format was changed in 2014 to enable the rest of the rhyme to be sung by parent or carer to the child. This stopped me buying the book as it does not allow the child to enjoy the book on his or her own and learn the words through repeated listening. Words in full may be printed on each page but small children cannot read.
