This is solid white. Being a sateen weave, the fabric itself has characteristics of a "sheen surface and soft handle" (i.e. a smooth and fairly shiny surface).

The Habitat Egyptian Cotton 400TC White Fitted Sheet - Single is suitable for a mattress depth of 30cm, so 20cm depth mattress would be fine- it would be an issue if the mattress were over 30cm deep.
