About this product
The Galicia Wall Mounted Bookcase gives you storage and display space without using up valuable floor area. It fixes to the wall in a tall, slender format that works in compact living rooms, hallways or bedrooms where floor space is limited. Four separate shelf sections let you arrange books, plants, photo frames, or decorative items at different heights. There's a partially enclosed shelf with a lift-up door for storing items you'd prefer to keep out of sight. Blue battery-powered LED downlighting adds a finishing touch that highlights your displayed items.
The grey high gloss finish wipes clean and suits modern interiors. Three of the four shelves adjust to different heights, so you can fit taller items or create even spacing to suit what you're storing. One fixed shelf provides stable support. Wall-mounting brackets are included for secure attachment, required for safety on units over 60cm high. Self-assembly needed, two people recommended for easier handling. Comes with a manufacturer's one year guarantee.
The feature blue battery-powered LED downlighting adds a final finishing touch to the collection.

Very surprised on opening the box that the product did not resemble the desription, as it is not gloss panels, I only ordered this unit as it described it as BLACK HIGH GLOSS PANELS this was not the case it has only one small gloss shelf that folds!! and a small gloss tiny front piece at the very bottom of the unit which is hardly noticeable. Apart from that the unit itself is okay and as we had opened it and despite our disappointment we decided to keep it, but would still much rather have had a gloss unit.

Good quality
I bought this for the wall at the end of my sons bunk beds as it was a narrow space. The shelf’s are very heavy so my husband had to get extra robust screws to put it on the wall. All in all I’m happy with it as it does the job. However the price is quite steep for what it is.

The unit is really sturdy and looks amazing !
I received this really quickly, I built it myself and it was so easy, need two to put on the wall but still very easy (i am not really good at building flat pack), thats how easy it was!, and good quality. My son absolutely loves this and his room looks so cool. I would recommend to anyone, definitely worth the money.

“ We would not recommend installing this horizontally due to the fact the glass support shelf, listed “4” on the assembly instructions would not have enough structural support for any weight placed against it. ”

Having checked with the supplier for you I can let you know they say - the LED lights are not fixed they come as a strip and have to be installed as part of the assembly of the product
You can decide to use your own LED light but please be aware this would invalidate the manufacture's guarantee

Having checked to see, this is designed for wall mounting rather than being set on a floor.

You can stand the Galicia 4 Shelf Wall Mounted LED Bookcase on the floor. It is recommended that it is still fixed to the wall to give stability.
