The Kielder 5 Drawer Chest gives you organised storage that keeps your bedroom tidy and clutter-free. There's space for five drawers worth of clothing, so you can sort trousers, jeans, tops and folded items without cramming. The light grey finish with contrasting top brings a fresh look that works with most bedroom colour schemes. The drawers run on easy-glide metal runners with heavy-duty 8mm bases that support the weight of full loads without sagging. I can confirm the top of the drawer set is a darker grey than the main unit.

Having bought this item the simple answer is that the drawers are 20cm not 12cm.

The chest has an added top and bottom plinth, which adds to the height of the chest.

The Kielder range features a Natural Rustic Oak top and as it is a rustic finish does have some character marking such wood lines and is slightly darker than a light oak finish bordering on a medium oak tone.

It means that the drawers have been lined with fabric, in this case linen so that the contents do not come into contact with bare wood.

I have spoken to our supplier who have advised as follows:
This product comes assembled and the delivery drivers will remove packaging and the castors which are only for transit purposes.
The customer would only be required to put the handles on the product. The handles are fixed inwardly of the drawer so a screw driver is required to place the handles the correct way on the outside.
