It’s everything they say it is and more. I’ve had mine for a few weeks now and I’ve yet to find anything it can’t cope with. It just gets on with the job at hand with no stress or dramas, seemingly without breaking a sweat. I used it to mix a ginger cake I’ve been making from the same recipe for many years, and for the first time ever I had to move my oven shelves. The cake rose so much better with all the extra air the KitchenAid was able to add to the mix. Having been making this particular cake for probably twenty years that came as a bit of a surprise! I wish I’d bought it years ago.

6-Wire Whip: Made of stainless steel wires and aluminium head - Not dishwasher safe.
Flat Beater: Made of aluminium and anti stick nylon coated - Dishwasher safe.
Flex Head Beater: Coated metal with a silicone side - Dishwasher safe.

The supplier has advised the following for the KitchenAid 5KSM175PSBOB Artisan Stand Mixer - Black:
"The 175psbob has 300W. Our range of stand mixers wattage is between 275 - 500 depending on bowl size. The system within the stand mixer is a direct drive and our KA SM's are more economical to use when compared to a 1000 watt alternative stand mixer model."
