Customers Say
The Fellowes Powershred 10M offers secure micro-cut shredding with a compact design and easy emptying. However, it often struggles with the claimed 10-sheet capacity, requires regular oiling, and some users report overheating and flimsy build.

Works well
Assembled easily and got through a backlog of shredding as a test run. Operates as described. Hope it lasts as long as its predecessor

Great for home use
Recently purchased this shredder for home use. It's great. Easy to use, you can shred a good amount before you have to empty it, has a window so you can see when it needs emptying, it's small so doesn't take up much room plus it looks good. Would highly recommend

Efficient but flimsy casing.
An efficient shredder giving securely, small particles. The casing that the main mechanism stands on however is, in my opinion, very flimsy. Whilst putting it together I was concerned that I might even damage it.

Good performance, poor cabinet structure.
This certainly shreds efficiently with securely, small pieces. The cabinet that the cutting head stands on is however very flimsy. I was concerned that it could break as I was fitting it together. I own an older Fellows shredder and it is certainly built more robustly. Considering the vast over production and waste amounts of plastic in our world, I think that building a more robust cabinet should have been considered.

Capacity good, speed acceptable, durability, only time will tell

Possibly the worst purchase I’ve made
I’ve had a number of Fellowes products over the years, but this is by far the worst. It fails to live up to its specification, can’t seem to shred more than one or two sheets of paper at a time and does it very, very slow slowly. It easily overheats, and is making almost unusable in a home office environment.. to say that I’m disappointed is putting it mildly. Plus, I literally only purchased it yesterday.

Works well
This is working well, but be aware that when using there needs to be cool down periods. Also, don’t forget to buy lubricant, which it needs each time you empty a full container of shredding.

Delighted
Delighted with the product and assured that my private papers are securely shredded. 5 stars at least!

Quiet and efficient
Replaced a Rexel shredder that finally gave up the ghost after 17 years. Wish I'd bought this years ago, it's so much quieter and shreds more pages more quickly than my old machine.

Hello AJ,
From the information we have available, I can advise The Fellowes 10M 10 Sheet 19 Litre Micro Cut Shredder is designed to handle paper, staples, and credit cards. However, shredding a deconstructed cardboard box might be too challenging for this model. Cardboard is generally thicker and more rigid than paper, which could potentially damage the shredder or cause it to jam.
