About this product
The 10M can shred 10 sheets of A4 paper per pass into 2x12mm micro cut particles for up to 10 minutes before needing 20 minutes to cool down. The 10M features a safety lock which prevents the machine from being accidentally activated. The 19-Litre pull out bin is ideal for regular shredding. The smaller micro cut particles will mean you have to empty your bin less frequently as it can hold at least 387 sheets. This shredders powerful micro-cut cutters, the 10M will not only shred your documents, but can shred staples and credit cards too.

This is working well, but be aware that when using there needs to be cool down periods. Also, don’t forget to buy lubricant, which it needs each time you empty a full container of shredding.

Quiet and efficient
Replaced a Rexel shredder that finally gave up the ghost after 17 years. Wish I'd bought this years ago, it's so much quieter and shreds more pages more quickly than my old machine.

Wonderful shredder.
We brought this shredder to replace one we had had for years. As we sometimes have to shred items of sensitivity, we have always used a cross shredder. This time we went for a micro cut. This was a great move. The fact that this will shred 10 sheets at a time, saving a lot of time and shred them In to little pieces. There is no way you could get any information from the shredding. The large bin also means you are not stopping every 10 mins to empty it. Overall this is a great shredder and well worth the money for complete security.

very disappointed
I have owned and used Fellowes machine before and have been very satisfied. However I recently purchased the Powershred 10M and I have to say I am 100% disappointed. This machines real life performance is WAY short of what is claimed, to be honest it is a total waste of money. Does it shred to P5 standards, yes it does, which is great, if you feed it one page at a time. . However its capacity is way short of what is advertised. It claims to shred 10 sheets of 70grm paper, that is simply not true. I use 80grm paper and it struggles to manage even 3 sheets at a time. This machine is a total disappointment and I have to regard my purchase as a complete waste of money.

Very, Very disappointed
The claims are that this machine has a capacity for up to 10 pages. This is a ridiculous over statement and is simply not true. The thinnest paper commonly available is 70grm, there is no way in this world that this machine would cope with 10 sheets of 70grm paper. I normally use 80grm paper and this machine struggles on just 4 pages. If you work within its very limited capacity (just one page at a time) then its P5 performance is great it produces incredibly secure output. But its operating capacity is simply no where near what it is claimed to be. I bought this machine after a previous Fellowes machine failed after 9 years. I thought Fellowes was a brand leader, but this 10M machine falls way short of my expectations of this brand. Does it work as a shredder, yes, but it is soooo delicate as to be a complete liability. This machine does not provide the reliable service I require and I will have find a replacement for it.

The product is good and produces a good sized paper shreds for the security level I was looking for. However it does also produce a considerable amount of dust that can be hard to clean out of the catchment bin.
