Good size toaster.
Bought a few months ago to replace broken press. The press is the correct size for 2 slices, so many are advertised showing 2 slices, but are too small unless the bread is trimmed, this one does the job.

I bought this as a present. I have one myself which I love and the person I bought gift for liked it too. We like the lid is hinged so can fit well filled items there no problem. The ridge effect is good too, cleaning easy .

Handle completely snapped when pressing down
I bought this less about a month ago. I’ve used it twice and the handle completely snapped as I was pressing it down whilst using it. It is now unusable and I wouldn’t say it is very sturdy when pressing down - it lifts up a lot and doesnt go all the way down making the clip on the side to keep it shut useless

This Cookworks 2 Portion Panini Press - Black can be used as a grill and can cook a wide variety of foodstuffs. The foodstuff should be a maximum of 1 cm thick; If using to toast sandwiches, position fillings that are likely to melt (e.g. cheese) towards the center of each sandwich to minimize leakage.

Yes it does. It doesn't seal the sandwich to form like a pocket though (cause the bread is squashed to do that) which is why I bought this machine as I prefer it not sealed.
