Versatile product set
Love the long spikes on these. Also glad there are a few sizes. I use them for touch-compromised sensation issues with my skin due to a neurological condition, but I'm also loving them for ironing out knots. Use on a bed or sofa for better comfort. I found them tricky to manage on a hard floor, as well as a bit painful.

Just what I needed
As described. Work really well. Need a soft or grippy surface to avoid them sliding around. Had previously been using a rubber ball to massage knots but it was too soft. These are rock hard.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Opti Spike Massage Ball - Set of 3: These are sports item and the spikes are designed to be firm to aid recovery for adult muscles
I would say no the spikes on the balls would be too hard for tender skin.

From the information we have available I can confirm these Opti Spike Massage Ball are hard plastic balls of various sizes for different exercises and therapy so you can target different areas of your body. Relieve pain and tension as these exercise roller balls massage your body, reach deep tissue, target trigger points and relax sore muscles. With more than 200 pressure points on the body, they can be used as foot balls, back rollers, around the neck, shoulder and as hand massagers.
They have no electrical components at all.

These can be used on most surfaces, however softer surfaces will cause pressure to be lost within the surface through it compressing and thus rolling the ball may become more difficult.
