Customers Say
These spiky massage balls are available in three sizes and are generally appreciated for their effectiveness on muscles, though many users found them too hard for comfort. Good value for money is a recurring theme.

Good value hard spiky massage balls
These spiky massage balls come in three different sizes which means you can get just the right sized one for each place you need to unknot which is great. They come with a container (not mentioned in the description) which is really handy for storage. As they are NOT flexible they cannot be used on bony tissue but work well on muscles/soft tissues/trigger points. Good value for money as well.

Spike balls
Wanted flexible spikey balls. Websie did not indicate they were hard and not flexible

Rock Hard and Unusable
These massage balls are really really hard, totally unsuitable for any sort of massage in my opinion, and definitely unsuitable for my need, which is massaging muscles and tendons in a problem area. Absolutely no give at all. But 10/10 to Argos for their returns process - no problems whatsoever returning these, and Argos remains on my list of preferred retailers.

Hi Red,
From the information we have available I can confirm these Opti Spike Massage Ball are hard plastic balls of various sizes for different exercises and therapy so you can target different areas of your body. Relieve pain and tension as these exercise roller balls massage your body, reach deep tissue, target trigger points and relax sore muscles. With more than 200 pressure points on the body, they can be used as foot balls, back rollers, around the neck, shoulder and as hand massagers.
They have no electrical components at all.
Thank you for using Q&A.
Hello there,
These can be used on most surfaces, however softer surfaces will cause pressure to be lost within the surface through it compressing and thus rolling the ball may become more difficult.
Thanks for using Q&A.
