Good toaster at a reasonable price
For a cheap toaster this item works as would be expected. Toasts both sides equally. Ordering and collection from Argos was easy and was available for next day collection.

Wasn’t happy as the second time I used it it blew a fuse and it affected the whole house in darkness. Exchanged it a week ago used it twice so far so good. Bought it with the Russell Hobbs kettle as I wanted the same make, but if it happens again I will get my money back.

Convert to inches:

No. It accommodates the thickness of the bread but not the length of a standard loaf. I have to press the bread in to make it fit. Would not recommend.
No, if you use standard sized 800g loaf slices, it will fail to toast the top quater of the slice.
Really only suitable for mini loaves 400g and crumpets
