Bang tidy stuff

This stuff is brilliant. Our carpet is ruined after 10 plus years of kids and dogs so we brought a rug to go over temporarily before we decorate in spring. I ran the cleaner over the carpet on quick dry before putting the large rug down and the carpet went from 10 years old to 2 years old. If I had it my way the carpet would be staying after the decorating works are done but the Mrs won't have it.

The Best Carpet Cleaning Solution

An excellent carpet cleaning solution which obviously suits my Vax Carpet Washer. I have light grey carpet in my lobby and a dog and despite trying to ensure that he's thoroughly cleaned it isn't very easy to keep the carpet spotless. That's where the Vax carpet washer and the Vax Platinum Carpet Cleaning Solution comes in. It really does a terrific job and I wouldn't use anything else.

2 for 1 Is A No-Brainer

There is no doubt, Vax cleaning products are expensive. I would hope this is because of all the research and development that goes into the product and of course using the best materials to manufacture the finished product. As a carpet specialist with over 38 years of experience, I have always shyed away from recommending carpet cleaning products. I once asked a carpet cleaning expert. "What was the most common thing you have to remove from a carpet?" The answer didn't surprise me and kind of backed up what my experience told me. "Soap! or to be precise carpet detergent!" You see almost all carpet shampoo/cleaners work using the sicky bob method. where by you put detergent into the carpet, the detergent sticks to the dirt and debris and in theory, the water washes it away. So THAT'S the problem, the "washing" away bit. Very few people do this. My carpet is clean, smells nice so..... The detergent is still in the carpet, the detergent is still very active in the carpet. So the old story "Once you have cleaned your carpet, it will get dirtier, quicker." There is a lot of truth here, simply because of not rinsing the detergent away. Indeed if your carpet has a wool content in it, most detergents "can" strip out the natural Lanolin oil out of the wool, thus making the carpet more suseptable to dirt and staining. There has been a big sea change within the carpet industry with the development of man made carpets. The most common type are Polypropelyne types (Stainfree, Invictus and the like). These claim to be very stain resistant and are "bleach cleanable." A lot of propiertry carpet shampoo actually uses bleach within the make up of the product. This can have serious consequences if you have any wool as part of the make up of your carpet. So to my carpet fitted in 2022. Man Made, with a wife with M.S. and a 6 year old daughter (in 2022). I thought this would be the best option as spillages and general staining would be the norm. I would sopt clean or blot up spillages and for the most part that was that. But I have recently noticed that overall, the carpet was beginning to look tired. So decided (against all my better judgement) to puchase a Vax Pet Cleaner. Utilising the Platnum Cleaning solution. The carpets came up clean to about 95%. A couple of stubborn spots which I did pretreat using the Pre-treatment solution. Very careful to use the rinse mode. Overall I am very happy on the result. I do wonder how much the platinum solution works better than the other solutions Vax make? My theory is that I will wait 3 months then clean again. with the hope that these stubborn stains react to the solution better and improve with time. My advsie to anyone is to keep an eye on offers that Vax make on their solutions as a big saving can be made.
