Great at sucking up mucus
I bought this one week ago when my daughter had a congested nose. Works like magic, pulling out the mucus from the nose without any effort. It has two suction levels but I feel it should have maybe 3 to give the option of a middle ground.

Didn’t work
I brought this item when my baby was so poorly, very snotty. It didn’t work at all. It got nothing out of her nose. I resorted to a snot sucked which cleared everything completely!!

Gentle device and still does the job
Gentle suction for baby nose. I lay my baby flat in between my tights and make him stay still by having his head between my them and his arms under them. I occlude one of the nostrils while I perform suction on the other nostril. Baby isn’t happy with it but it does the job. Some people would say that it is not very effective but for a non-invasive suction device I would say that is not bad at all. I always manage to get some secretions out.

Good, simple product
Pretty good product. Easy to use and clean. Baby doesn’t really like it, but it does the job. I read reviews and people said to use saline spray with this product so did that. Doesn’t totally clear the nose but it did get some of the snot out, so baby could breathe better. Only criticism is it comes with a pouch, which is great, but would be better if the product itself came with a cap.

Good service, however product has some defects
I bought the nasal aspirator and it was delivered to me within 2 hours. The service was great. But unfortunately I am facing some issues with the aspirator as it is not working exactly it should be . i believe the suctioning is not doing well. I had the same machine before but it was working great than this one. Bit disappointed but I have insurance so I will replace it.

Hello, RT! Thank you for your question. We're sorry to learn that the Braun BNA100 Electrical Nasal Aspirator has not performed as expected. It should remove the mucus when it is runny. We recommend adding a couple of drops of saline solution to the nostril to dilute the mucus. Make sure to give the saline solution some time before proceeding to the aspiration and to position the nozzle so as to create a seal with the nostril. We hope this advice will prove helpful. If the issue persists, don't hesitate to send us a direct message on Facebook or Instagram at Braun Healthcare.
Best regards,
Renate - Braun Healthcare Team
Hello, Kajskos! We are sorry to learn that our nasal aspirator was ineffective in your case.
The following questions should help you troubleshoot:
Did you check that there was no space between the nozzle and the container?
Did you use a saline solution to dilute the mucus?
Did you leave the saline solution in for a few minutes before aspirating?
Did you insert the nozzle so as to create a seal with the nostril during aspiration?
Have you tested both nozzles?
Have you tried gently changing the angle of the nozzle to reach the mucus more easily?
Was the aspiration continuos?
Did you use both buttons?
We hope this helps. If you need further support, don't hesitate to contact us on Facebook or Instagram at @braunhealthcareuk.

Hi Kelsey,
The Braun Nasal Aspirator is designed to clear the nostrils airways of loose debris which will most likely be fluids, not solid.
Thank you for using Q&A.
It mostly only collects wet fluids. I found it didn’t get the stuck boogies, unless they were a bit wet. But when my little boy was really full of cold and was struggling. I found it really really helped.
Hello, Bella!
Thank you for using the question section to reach out.
You should suction your baby’s nostrils no more than four times a day to prevent damaging the interior lining of their nostrils.
If you have any other questions, don't hesitate to ask; we're here for you.
Best regards,
Renate - Braun Healthcare Team
