Nice but..
I bought this for our new house and whilst I am relatively happy with it it’s not entirely sturdy and I’ve had to add extra brackets to secure it. Was incredibly difficult to put together I had to pay someone to do it and he had to get a friend to help as it required a lot of force to slot the top on. Extremely heavy. The capacity is very good and I bought squares from Amazon to fit as the cube dimensions are bigger than most of this kind of furniture. Aesthetically it’s ok to look at in the grey but I do wish I had bought the white instead.

We would not recommend doing this as the top and base need the support of the sides. If this is switched to its side the top and bottom will only have the support of dowels and no structure support.

Yes, the Habitat Squares Plus 16 Cube Storage Unit - Black is very sturdy, weighing in at 55Kg and the cube design gives it extra strength. Each individual cube section can take a maximum of 10kg in weight evenly spread, but we recommend that the load in the whole unit should not exceed 80kg.
