[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’ve been trying out the Little Live Pets Mama Surprise and my daughter absolutely loved it. She was so excited by the whole idea of looking after the mummy cat and then discovering her kittens. The surprise element makes it really fun, and she loved finding out which kittens she had and playing with them afterwards. It’s one of those toys that really encourages imaginative play, and she’s spent much longer playing with it than I expected. The little kittens are adorable and there are lots of cute details that make the whole thing feel like a proper little pet experience. Definitely a big hit with her and one I’d recommend for any little animal lover.

Great toy

Thought it would have come with batteries in as taking it all apart ruined the kitten surprise for my son if we didn’t need to take it apart to add batteries he wouldn’t have known where the kittens were hiding.

One thing I would definitely do before starting though is unpack the toy from it's box then get the instructions and read them before letting your little one enjoy the magic. My children have played loads with the toy after opening, making up stories and revealing the kittens again and again.
