Superb blinds
We have just finished putting these blinds up in our conservatory and I am impressed!!! They look far more expensive than they cost and are very attractive. They were easy to cut and install if you just follow instructions.

Looks great in my kitchen
Having previously bought the white version for my bedroom, I decided to replace the flimsy metal blind in my kitchen with this grey version. I noticed that the existing blind had exactly the same type top section and fitting brackets, so this was a doddle to replace using the existing brackets in situ. It's a bit fiddly to remove the excess slats in order to get the drop length right, and seems a waste of plastic throwing them away, maybe Argos would consider making a shorter drop version of these? Anyway the effort was worth it, these look very stylish and should hold their shape for many years to come!

Decent for the price
Installation instructions weren’t too clear but with some trial and error was able to fit them and they look pretty good - quite heavy so you wouldn’t know it was faux wood.

Hi Emerald,
Habitat 25mm Faux Wooden Venetian Blind - Grey 939/3299 The supplier has advised:
To trim it down, reduce the width of the blind, you'd basically ensure it's all fully retracted so it's like a "slab" of blind. Hold the slats together by wrapping them with some "low tack" masking tape to keep them as a block. Taking the width measurement you need in relation to the pre-trimmed width of the blind, i.e. the total you need to cut off, mark half of this on each side. (It'd need to be equally trimmed for both sides, not just all cut off one side). You can then trim a bit off each side to make it fit. To cut the headrail, use a metal hacksaw. Please note that the maximum amount you can trim is 7.5cm off each side.
