Suitable for cats and dogs up to 7kg, it can be used on walls as well as doors. Operated by a magnetic flap system. Closing panel included. Please note this is not a four way locking door.

You can order from Argos. But can’t access Nector points. Argos staff cannot help as you are told to contact Nector. Given two(2) different tele numbers for Nector. Neither are obtainable. Conclusion:- don’t buy from Argos then no contact with Nector. What a Shambles!

After contacting our suppliers they have advised for the PetSafe Staywell Original 2-Way Pet Door - Small White.
The normal cutout for the flap you are referring to is:
Cut Out Size: 18.5cm x 15.8cm
So the customer would have to increase the height of the opening.
The fact that the existing opening is wider than specified should be ok as the frame can cover the gap
Frame Dimensions: 23.6cm x 19.8cm x 3.2cm.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the PetSafe Staywell Original 2-Way Pet Door - Small White: The screws would be steel ones, which can rust over time. A way to easily avoid this and give more protection, would be a coating with silicone spray, vaseline, grease or similar.

You should be able to fit this door to a shiplap wooden gate however, you might need some silicone to fill any gaps.

The supplier has advised the following for the PetSafe Staywell Original 2-Way Pet Door - Small White:
"If the bifold door is made out of glass, then none of our dog doors except the big cat small dog can go in to it. This is due to the corners on the dog door causing pressure on the glass which can lead to the glass breaking. If the bifold door is made out of other material, you can purchase one extra tunnel at 50mm which can be cut to size."
