This is a cheap basic cat flap that does the job. I bought it so we don’t have to leave the bedroom door open at night. For the money it does a great job but if it was on an exterior door I would have bought a better one. That said it does the job.

After contacting our suppliers they have advised for the PetSafe Staywell Original 2-Way Pet Door - Small White.
The normal cutout for the flap you are referring to is:
Cut Out Size: 18.5cm x 15.8cm
So the customer would have to increase the height of the opening.
The fact that the existing opening is wider than specified should be ok as the frame can cover the gap
Frame Dimensions: 23.6cm x 19.8cm x 3.2cm.
