Logitech Mobi Fold Ultra-Portable Wireless Mouse - White

Very good - but some frustrating misses

This is a clever, nice feeling mouse. I’ve quickly adapted to it, and appreciate the build quality, which is an improvement over my previous travel mouse. Set up and use is very intuitive and simple, so overall I’m pleased with my purchase. For: Build quality, ease of use Against: for me, the location of the usb c port is a negative; with a cable attached, it is impractical to continue use of the mouse; I also use a magnetic tip cabling system, but the port placement means I can’t benefit from permanently attaching a usb c tip (the mouse travel can’t be supported; an edge-case admittedly, but a significant one for me. Also, moving from my usual Logitech MX Master mice, I really miss horizontal scrolling; I wish Logitech had designed this as a folding/travel version of their MX Master devices and incorporated horizontal scrolling. I do hope a folding extended keyboard is to come next!

The future of tech

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I first started using this mouse for work, and honestly, the first few minutes felt like I had accidentally picked up some kind of futuristic office gadget from a sci-fi film. It felt strange and slightly unnatural at first, but after a few hours it became completely normal. It works on pretty much any surface, so there is no need for a mouse mat, a perfectly level desk, or any other unnecessary office luxuries. It connects easily to laptops without needing a dongle, which is great because dongles have a magical ability to disappear forever. The folding design is so smooth and compact that I have accidentally put it in my pocket and walked around with it all day for no good reason other than it was easy to do. I have also passed it around to other members of my team, and they all said the same thing: after about an hour, they actually preferred it to their normal everyday mouse. The only thing that takes a little getting used to is the lack of a physical scroll wheel. It still does the same job, but it uses a touch-sensitive middle section instead, which initially makes you feel like you are trying to scroll with a tiny magic carpet. Overall, for using with a laptop on the go, it is excellent. It is compact, works practically anywhere, connects easily, and I have not charged it in several weeks despite using it every day. I am now slightly concerned it may be powered by witchcraft.

Perfect for working on the go!

Quiet clicks nice touch

It's lightweight, folds flat so it barely takes up any space in my bag, and connects to my devices in seconds. It feels smooth to use, and the quiet clicks are a nice touch if you're working in cafés or shared spaces. A great choice if you want a portable mouse without compromising on quality.

A Clever Travel Mouse

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using the Logitech Mobi Fold mouse recently and I have to say, it has impressed me more than I expected. The first thing that stands out is how convenient it is for travelling. When folded, it becomes very compact and takes up very little space in a bag, making it easy to carry around with a tablet, phone or laptop. It's clearly been designed with portability in mind, and for anyone who works on the move, that's a big plus. Setting it up was also incredibly simple. The mouse connects via Bluetooth, and pairing it with my tablet and phone was quick and hassle-free. Once connected, it worked exactly as expected without any fuss, making it easy to switch between devices when needed. One feature I really liked is how clever the folding mechanism is. The hinge feels solid and well built, which immediately gives confidence that it will hold up over time. Logitech has also clearly put some thought into the design. As soon as you lift the mouse from the surface, it recognises that you may be about to fold it and temporarily prevents accidental clicks. It sounds like a small thing, but it's one of those little details that makes the product feel polished. Folding the mouse also automatically turns it off, which helps save battery life when it's not in use. Charging is done through USB-C, which is always welcome, and the charging speed is impressive. Logitech states that a quick one-minute charge can provide several hours of use, which is ideal if you're in a rush and forgot to charge it beforehand. Comfort was another pleasant surprise. Looking at the design, I wasn't sure how it would feel in the hand, but the curved shape works really well. The raised body gives your hand somewhere natural to rest, making it comfortable to use for longer periods than I initially expected. The buttons feel smooth and responsive, with a satisfying click that isn't too loud or harsh. Navigation feels precise and effortless, whether browsing, working or simply using it for everyday tasks. Overall, the Logitech Mobi Fold feels like a well thought out travel mouse. It's compact, comfortable, easy to connect and packed with useful little features that improve the overall experience. If portability is important to you, this is definitely a product worth considering.

Compact but mighty
