Bought this about a month ago. So far, I am very happy with it. Attractive in a restrained way and doesn't use up much space. I was a bit dubious about how much light the small bulb would give, but it is plenty bright enough.

I actually got this with the intention of removing the lamp shape as I wanted a basic base for another shade I've had for years. It's fine, but you can't expect much for less than £10! I've paired it with a 1800K amber coloured bulb and I'm using it with a vintage rotaflex shade from the 1950s as I wanted a nice warm retro lamp in the hallway.

Great little lamp for my hallway. Easy to install. Works well with the LED 4.2W bulbs recommended for use with this purchase. I have it plugged into a timer switch which I purchased elsewhere.
