After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Vtech DM1111 Audio Baby Monitor: The VTech DM1111 audio monitor is powered via the mains, you do have the option to operate with batteries in order to enable you to move more freely around the house, batteries are not included with this product.
In order to operate with batteries, you will need 2 x AAA batteries.
