Non stick patina came off after first use. TBH shocked that argos even sells a product this defective, looks bad for the company.

Before purchasing, when I read other reviews in which people mentioned that the coating removed after few use or maybe in the first use, I guessed the reason was they might not season the wok before using which I did and my coating is still attached. This wok is the some of the best kitchen appliances I bought under 10 pounds. It delivers great value at this price point. Love the product š

One star is one too many
I bought this a few weeks ago and used it once. Most of the non stick coating came off and ruined my dinner. I didn't bother to take it back as that would have cost more than the price of the wok. I guess you get what you pay for as I've since invested in a proper carbon steel one and seasoned it myself. No problems with that one..

I can advise that this wok is not suitable for induction hobs. You can use this on gas, electric, halogen, ceramic or solid hotplates.

You need to prime your wok before use.

"We do not advise using any metal utensils around or inside the wok due to the potential damage it could cause to the non-stick coating."
