I bought this last month to allow me have a place to eat in a galley kitchen. No disappointment here! It was really easy to put together and I was on my guard as some had said it needed a lot of help to get the joints together. It doesnt if you have the right tools. You need a rubber mallet that's all. If you dont have one a small regular hammer and a towel folded thickly will suffice held over the joint to be put together and helped with the hammer. Its everything I wanted and needed. Use placemats as it's not heat resistant, no issue there for me. Lovely product.

Just what we needed
A practical purchase where the two of us can sit comfortably and enjoy a meal. It is a subtle piece of furniture and ideal when there is not a great deal of space. However, for the price, I think the materials are a little on the cheap side and the finish of this item is rough. The slotting format of assembly is inspired, but not an easy process. The amount of force that was required to slot some of the parts together did compromise the strength of some parts of the structure. Overall it will serve the purpose for which it was intended, but I wouldn't purchase this item again.

we use this as a breakfast bar and therefore have not tested it out with heavy weights

The Home Bolitzo Bar Set & 2 Stools - Oak & Black table top is not heat resistant.
Place mats and coasters are recommended.

No you can’t push up to the skirting board with no gap to the wall
The overlap from the legs to the table top is only about half a cm
