The JBL Charge Essential 3 SE is a rugged, highly efficient portable speaker built for outdoor adventure. Fully dustproof and waterproof with an upgraded IP67 rating, it safely handles poolside drops and heavy rain. It features a powerful 40W RMS two-way audio system—combining an oblong racetrack woofer, a dedicated tweeter, and dual pumping passive bass radiators—to deliver massive, clear sound. Good sound quality, not sure about durability
I bought this product with a lot of anticipation and I must admit for the first month, I was impressed with the product. Sound quality was great and bass was amazing. After a month, the speaker started producing this cracking/static noise. It started small and as the months went by, it got worse. Eventually, I was unable to hear anything as the static noise got completely out of hand. I was so disappointed especially since I really enjoyed the product in the first month of its arrival. Even now, I am skeptical about going in for the Charge 4 as I fear thesame might happen.

Spectacular quality
I only bought this a week ago and it has already proven itself as the best portable speaker I have ever owned. Finally stereo from Windows laptop
I've had 2 charge 3's for a couple of years now but struggled you play stereo on my windows 10 laptop when recently I had a brainwave if I bluetoothed the one speaker with windows and bluetoothed the other using my phone and activate the connect app and turn on the stereo function and voila music played from my laptop is now stereo!!!! A faff I know but it works.

Great Speaker
I had one of these and lost it at an airport. Got the insurance money and looked at the market, I needn't have bothered so I went with the JBL Charge 3. Useful to take away for music but also invaluable if you forget to charge your phone in the car....I used the JBL to charge my phone in the hotel room.....whilst listening to music :)
