Do not buy for Jamaica
I bought these adaptors for a holiday to Jamaica. I’m writing this review from the hotel. These adaptors do not fit the plug sockets here. The sockets here are 2 pin not the 3 pin which these adaptors have

A quick internet search shows that Panama uses a combination of type A (un-Earthed) and type B (Earthed) standard US sockets, of which only the latter will accept these adaptors (as they have an Earth pin).

As previously advised, these adaptors will fit Japanese sockets which _are_ Earthed (i.e. 2 pin plus Earth) but will not fit any _non-Earthed_ (2 pin only) Japanese or American sockets as the Earth pin on them will prevent this.

You would need to carry an extra adaptor without an Earth pin to be covered for both types.
