A quick internet search shows that the Dominican Republic use a combination of type A (un-Earthed) and type B (Earthed) standard US sockets, of which only the latter will accept these adaptors (as they have an Earth pin).

As previously advised, Mexico uses both Type A and Type B sockets, these will only suit the Type B style sockets (due to the Earth pin).
You would need to carry an extra adaptor without an Earth pin to be covered for both types.
