Assuming you are aware that this is able to be bought in different edition in terms of standard and deluxe. We are also currently selling, as of the 1/12/2023, the 40th anniversary version of the game cheaper as this is no longer going to be sold due to it not being the 40th year anymore. Both games are the same, however the 40th anniversary version includes 4 classic commercial airports, 10 glider airports, 12 new aircrafts, 14 heliports, 20 classic missions from the franchise's past.

The None Anniversary version doesn't include the above as standard.

You do have to buy these planes, but there are many websites which offer these free and some also charge for these extra planes. The quality varies, so you just have to look on the Internet, the choice is way more than what Microsoft offer themselves.

All versions let you land and take off from 37,000 airports around the world, each edition has "handcrafted" airports with additional details. The Standard Edition will let you fly 20 different planes, and land (and takeoff) from 30 different airports. The Deluxe Edition will include 25 aircraft and 35 airports, and the Premium Deluxe Edition will include 35 aircraft and 35 airports.
