Not the best for the neck
Product heats up nicely but not so much for the neck

No impressed
Not very impressed with this!! The massage is powerful but doesn’t line up correctly on my shoulders so is not effective in the areas I need. However the heat function is really nice and helps.

Not good as expected

No heat at neck
I bought it basically for heat and less for massage. Returned it because it only heats up at the back area , not at the neck. Also heat wont work on its own , it has to be with the massager on.

Not worth it
It is not written anywhere in the description that you will plug it and put it on, meaning you cannot sit where you want and use it. In addition, it doesn't make any change, after the massage, you will remain the same, so for me, it’s a waste of money.

Helped with pain. Would buy again.

More massage than heat
Bought this for my perpetually aching shoulder, and was excited to see something that would go over my shoulders. However, only the back part heats up — there’s no warmth in the shoulder parts. It also doesn’t seem to get as hot as other heating pads I have. There’s a good range of massage options though, so if you’re after that you may enjoy this more. It’s also quite large; I found myself trying to pull it more around me to get more of an effect from it. It is really soft thought, and the magnetic clasp at the front is great. Overall not really for me, but I can imagine it being great for the right person.

Shoulder heat massager
I bought this to help with the healing process following a broken shoulder injury. To be fair it's been helpful in relaxing the shoulder blade and neck muscles. The heat is just right, just wished it stayed on a few minutes longer +automatically switches off after 15 minutes). It has various massage settings and can be quite loud on the intense setting. The two combined does what it's meant to do.

Hey Claire,
I can advise that the tab at the top behind the neck does not vibrate.

Hello Book type,
The supplier has advised the following for the HoMedics Comfort Neck and Shoulder Massager:
“ This does indeed stay in place without using your hands, it fits comfortably over the shoulders and can be closed with a small magnet at the front/bottom of the comfort wrap. ”
Thanks for using Q&A.
Hi Haji,
The HoMedics Comfort Neck and Shoulder Massager is mains operated.
Thank you for using Q&A.
Hi Marysue,
The HoMedics Comfort Neck and Shoulder Massager doesn't claim to alleviate migraine. We would suggest consulting your GP for advice on this health issue.
Thanks for using Q&A,
Hello Claire,
The supplier has advised the following for the HoMedics Comfort Neck and Shoulder Massager:
The amount of electricity this product uses is measured in Watts (not Volts). The adaptor is rated at 240V 0.5A and therefore is rated at 120W. In 1 hour it will use 120Wh so in 15minutes it will use 30Wh.
I hope this helps.
Thank you for using Q&A.
Hi Jenny,
The weight of the HoMedics Comfort Neck and Shoulder Massager is approximately 1.1kg. You will feel the weight of the massager section on your shoulders but it should not be uncomfortable.
Thank you for using Q&A.
It is not a heavy item at all - quite lightweight
Hi Sarah,
The HoMedics Comfort Neck and Shoulder Massager has a 15 minute auto shut-off on this appliance for your safety.
Thank you for using Q&A.
Hi Sharron,
The HoMedics Comfort Neck and Shoulder Massager cycles through low constant/high pulse. It does not have a rotation motion option available.
Thank you for using Argos.
It is a vibration only massager. HoMedics make a "Shiatsu Back and Shoulder Massager" or "Shiatsu Massage Pillow" which is more like what you might want.
Pulsating and heating, like a blanket over your shoulders doesn't have anything that rotates. Hope this helps
Just a loud sounding has no effect on your body. Will be a waste of money to purchase.
Hi Shell,
yes, the HoMedics Comfort Neck and Shoulder Massager includes a plug.
Thank you for using Q&A.
Yes it comes with a plug adapter. Just return fir a refund as the whole product is useless and a worst of money.
