About this product
Waterproof durable beds, suitable for Large and XL large dogs. The Oxford bed has a removable inner pad which can also be reversed. Washable at 30C on a delicate wash cycle-- please note that these beds should not be tumble dried or ironed. The base is non slip and can also be wiped clean with warm water.

Excellent purchase
I bought this a month ago for my lady staffie. She loves being in it. I got an extra large as she likes to sprawl out and this gives her all the room she needs. It's easily cleaned and doesn't hold the doggy smells. And with her claws and liking to dig around her bed it is extremely durable. Would recommend 👌

Its a good bed but definitely no good for dogs that like to chew. I was suprised it only lasted 1 day. Its a shame they didn't use a stronger material. Looks strong but isn't. Giving 4 stars just for the fact it's not strong.

Most adult English Bulldogs weigh between 20–30kg, and many prefer to spread out rather than curl up. Because of their wide chests and stocky build, they often need a little more room than their length alone suggests.
Large size – great for average‑sized Bulldogs who curl up or like a snug bed.
Extra Large size – best if your Bulldog is on the larger side, likes to stretch out, or tends to overheat and prefers a more spacious sleeping area.

The supplier has advised the following for the Petface Oxford Oval Red Dog Bed - Large:
"Our beds are suitable to be used in the washing machine, however with any type of bedding there’s always a chance the bed will be misshapen and lumpy afterwards. It is unlikely any bed will come out of a washing cycle exactly as it went in; we recommend the below as a guide for best results.
Set your washing machine to a gentle cycle with cold water. For Petface beds we recommend a 30-degree wash on the lowest spin setting. Avoid using hot water, as it may cause the fabric to shrink or fade. Always use a pet-safe, hypoallergenic detergent to wash your dog bed.
Once the cycle is complete, remove the bed promptly. For best results, air dry the bed outside and regularly shake the bed to separate any clumps that may have formed during the washing process. While the bed is still damp, pull any areas that look misshapen back into place and keep shaking the bed at regular intervals until fully dried."

"There’s no zip, but it does have round metal vent holes. These could be an issue if your dog tends to chew the harder plastic or metal parts on their bed.
