My first thoughts after a week of use..
I bought this TV a week ago to replace a good 12 yr old 49inch Sony TV. In fact it was one of the first 4K TV's on the market at the time. This TV shares a lot of the SONY Traits, in that it is apparently well built and beautifully finished. I am hoping it will have a long life as per my old TV. It too had a very good picture and it did maintain this over its lifetime. It had a big drawback as a lot of the apps (Not Android) became obsolete on it and I had to use a firestick in the end. This TV is Android based and so that I believe to be a very big positive. Picture quality is excelent, certainly realistic colours when watching outdoor scenes etc.. Great luminence and the Blacks are massively improved over my older TV. So all good in this department. The TV sound is a lot better than most LCD TV's and does convey voices well. I am using an old Sony Home Theatre system which suits our room setting. The sound is much improved, and in a different league streaming movies. I have no doubt the SONY soundbar would be a another step forward tjough. So, very good picture and reasonable sound. Thats the good news. My old TV was a tad complicated. But to get the best from this TV, I strongly advise to get it set up on delivery properly. Do insist it is set up for each indivdual source you use.. VCR, Streaming, TV, PVR and soundbar. Unless you are not afraid of things Technical ! I found I needed to have individual adjustments for all of these to get lip sync, sound levels, picture settings, and motion judder smoothing. The latter I am still struggling with a little. The TV software has good presentation qualities. But at times I get frustrated with it. I do not like having to go through mutiple windows to make minor ajustments. Some times its like navigating around a small maze:) Not sure why you cannot have tables of settings on your mobile app to easily store, up or download to change at will. That way the menus / windows would not obscured the picture you want to adjust. One thing I seriously do not like, is the TV comes set up for using 'youview'. In preference to watching terestial TV. I found it painful for the first day or two. As The TV button took you too youview not Terestial (aerial) TV? MAinly because I needed different picture settings for either source. Like many things, this can be changed over in the main settings menu. 'TV' is actually a seperate APP as per youview. By now you can see why I would recommend the TV for younger more Tech savvy people. I guess many smart TV's also have their challenges... The TV does have a good initial setup app, I found this does work well. My wife commented today that the TV was growing on her. So I took that as a positive ! Like all new things it does take a while to familiarise.

Bravia 7 ii 65 inch
I've bought this TV 2-3 weeks and I'm really impressed with the quality of the picture and sound quality too I mainly stream and it does every thing I want Even the menu is quick and easy to navigate I'm glad I bought this instead of an OLED because in my opinion this is the way forward and you can easily hookup many other devices without the fear of screen burn Sound quality is better than I expected and poses the dilemma do I really need a soundbar Overall it excels in everything I want from my TV I'm very happy with my purchase

Great Tv once its been set up
A really good tv, but like so many more come in a poor state to view, as the flesh tones were awful in my opinion after wading through endless menus and settings it is now almost perfect, why don't Sony give a user manual to help the customer ? as this is not a cheap tv, and a user manual would have been so useful not just for picture settings but also for connecting sound bars etc, just throwing a connector in a bag is not good enough

New Sony Bravia 7ii TV
Excellent picture quality. Not sure why we need to use two remote controls. Setting TV programmes to record is not as easy as it was on my Panasonic TV. With that TV you simply found the program, hit the red button on the remote control to record and that was it. The program showed a dot to remind you that the program was going to be recorded. You could also record two programmes at the same time.

Great TV for new apartment!
We have had this to for almost two weeks now. Upgraded from a 2021 LG. Much improved picture quality and great sound. We use the to on WiFi but it is still quick starting up and was very easy to set up using Sony and Google Apps. Additionally we have the Bravia TheatreBar 8 which helps create a more effective sound bubble. Would highly recommend.

Frankly disappointing!
Actually really disappointed with this purchase. Only bought it as a result of last tv packing up. Find it almost impossible to get a decent picture on it despite trying every setting on it. Colour contrast etc. if you change channels they all need resetting again. Wife describes it as a tv picture from the 1970’s and i don’t put her wrong!

Not very impressed with the soft ware at all
Picture is outstanding but the software and usability is far from perfect, the initial set up is dreadful the satellite set up in particular was unfathomable, I'm very technical and usually these things are straight forward for me but I had to contact a dish installer to come close to finding the answers. The remote controls are way to small to even read the buttons and pointless to have 2 get your act together and have all combined in one and of decent quality metal. Changing from my previous Panasonic seems like a massive down grade. SONY you can do better than this. I have also experienced a complete lock up and Black screen while watching Amazon prime when instead of the going for episode 1 to episode 2 the TV just locked up and nothing worked until I unplugged the set and turned it back on again!!! I have complained to Richer sounds where I brought the set.

Amazing TV, needs recycleable packaging
The TV is amazing. It's everything I expected. The only issue is the packaging - unrecycleable polystyrene, and plastic bags with no recycling symbols. It's 2026 - plastic pollution is a huge problem. I expected Sony to be much better in this department.
