Great Improvement in my old TV
A great picture improvement on my 9 year old Samsung. Picture does blink however when selecting Sky Q TV Guide.

Solid buy
I purchased this TV a few weeks ago. In general happy with the TV. I wish I had got John Lewis to install it as it was a bit tricky to set up both the stand and initiate the system. This was the only current TV that had a screen size of 50in, as I cannot accommodate any larger screen TV.

Not great
To much fiddling around setting up the tv. Once sorted found that the sound and picture go out of sync occasionally. This also happened when using games consoles. Surely these Sony ps5 and the tv should automatically sync, but no, still syncing out. Only solution was to turn the console off and try again.

A massive let down
After reading all the positive hype and advertisements regarding this model, I bought one to replace my LG G3 OLED. Although the sound was a little better the picture is no way as stunning compared to the LG. I agree the already calibrated pictures on Netflix etc are acceptable, all the rest are mediocre at best. The programming guide is worse than useless and is completely unexpectable for a TV of this supposed stature and price. The original Bravia TVs where indeed outstanding and this is what I hoped to find this one would be, but no, this was most disappointing. This is after many years the first negative revue that I have ever posted, and it truly saddens me in having to do so.

I am overall very pleased with this TV . Sharp definition & contrast . The Audio Is quite adequate from the screen & The voice booster is Useful in keeping overall sound down , keeping the neighbours happy . I do find the remote for terrestial TV button arrangement less than ideal and in conjunction with the onscreen channel menu find changing channels more time consuming than our last TV . I deduct one star in consequence . This aside I would not hesitate to recommend this TV . Sony also gave a free five year extended Guarantee which is a reassuring sign of probable long term reliability .
