I purchased the Richardson Essentials Knife Sharpener following a recommendation from a friend who already had purchased this one. She was thrilled with her purchase and even though I have use my purchase only once I am extremely happy with it. It is very easy to use and appears to be stable when sharpening the knives

The supplier has advised the following for the Richardson Essentials 3 Stage Knife Sharpener: "we do not make or supply any knives with bends in them so they will only have been tested on straight knives, therefore we would not recommend this product to sharpen a knife with a bend."
