Noisy water feature
Bought this a few weeks ago as much for the sensory experience of the moving water. I looked around beforehand and established garden water features are expensive. This was not cheap either, but I missed that it was made of resin, and is a hollow construction with the water reservoir inside the base of it. Which all makes the falling water very loud. I've tried decorative pebbles in the water, with negligible effect on the volume, and they were too small so washed into the internal reservoir. The mount for the solar panel is literally a push fit clip onto the edge of the solar panel/battery, so I'm not convinced it will survive a strong wind gust. The instructions do advise taking the water feature in during bad weather - but there is a limit and weather forecasts are inaccurate from time to time. Also the on off switch is on the rear of the solar panel. It is literally either on , or off, no timer or anything more sophisticated. The lights come on when it gets dark. The large access hole to get to the water pump has no cover so I guess it's only a matter of time before the spiders move in, and there is no mesh or filter on the return hole into the reservoir so all manner of dirt is likely to accumulate in the reservoir - the pump does have a filter and instructions for dismantling the pump to clean it. It does run on for several hours in the dark, and has survived handling from child so far. At a distance it looks good.

I bought this water feature a month ago, & so glad I did, I’ve been looking for a solar one for a while this is lovely, really happy with it, the best I’ve seen, the LED lights really set it off at night we’ll worth the money A+++++

Lovely water feature
I decided to buy this as its solar powered - I wanted to see if they were as effective as the wired water features…. They certainly are - very effective waterfall & lovely led light feature, the solar function powers the water feature for hours. It took no time to set up & I’m really impressed - it’s great 😊 👍

Lovely solar fountain
I purchased this fountain last month for our garden and it is a lovely addition, soothing and peaceful. Very pleased with it and love that it is solar powered as the location we have it is away from easy access to mains.

Looks absolutely brilliant.
Looking at water features and this caught my eye. Installed it in the garden and couldn’t be more pleased a good price and pleasing to relax to. The LED lighting is a lot brighter than I would recommend placing a few pebbles in the lower trough to enhance the sound of running water. The LED lights look amazing.

Lovely water feature .
Bubbling beautifull..for best results, put your solar panel and place it on a swivel so you can capture as much sun as you can ....just turn with the sun ...Backs up the battery better for a light show later .

Great Buy.
Have been looking for ages for a solar waterfall. This one was right size, right colour, lights up and looks great!. Charge lasts well, with quite a long lead to hide away.. We put some gravel in the bottom just to lessen the sound alittle. Delivery Quick. Very Happy.

Lovely water feature
Looks very nice in the garden especially at night with the lights. Was very well packaged and easy to put together. Love the fact that the water just recycles all the time so no need to keep filling up. Very pleased

I’ve checked mine and cable is connected to pump so doesn’t look as though it can be replaced . Had mine 2 years so far and doing well . Just need to make sure in hot weather it doesn’t run pump dry
Hello Moldeb,
I have spoken to our supplier who have advised as follows:
This is open to customers choice should they wish to leave the Gardenwize Solar Powered Water Feature - Cascading Slate running for a sustained period this will in time drain the battery that has been charged via solar energy it can also be turned on and off by simply removing the connection into the back of the panel.
I hope this helps.
Thank you for using Q&A.
You have the option to select on the back of the solar panel if you want it to run continuously or when daylight permits . Very important to check if in direct sunlight during summer that there is enough water in the base for pump to work.
Hi Sus,
No, these are solar powered.
Hope this helps!

Hi Jess
Having checked with the supplier for you I can let you know they say - the back up battery, will charge up with the excess sunlight that is not needed to power the unit.
There is a switch on the back of the solar panel which can be used as and when the solar panel isn’t working directly off the sunlight’s power. This gives you more of an on demand power source.
Thanks for using Q & A
Hi there
Having checked with the supplier for you I can let you know the LED’s are white light.

Hello Marilyn, I am unsure of your question as there is no mention of a lead here. I can see a lead from the solar back up unit but in terms of powering the water feature it is entirely solar powered.
