The Jo Mid Sleeper Bed Frame lifts the mattress high, freeing floor space underneath for storage boxes, a chest of drawers, or a cosy den. It has a sturdy metal frame with metal slats that support the mattress and spread weight evenly. The fixed ladder angles out for easier climbing, making it safer for little legs. Available in white or silver to fit most bedroom styles. Suitable for a standard single mattress up to 16cm deep for safety. Part of the Jo collection and tested to British and European safety standards.
The side rails sit 75cm high, keeping sleepers secure through the night. The metal frame keeps the bed stable and durable through years of climbing, reading and bedtime routines. The angled ladder sits firmly in place and extends about 20cm away from the frame at the base for a steadier climb. Maximum user weight of 110kg means it grows with your child through primary school and beyond. Self-assembly with clear instructions, two people recommended. Fantastic buy
I bought this bed for my daughter a few weeks ago as an upgrade from her previous bed, as she's has a small room and needed more room for storage. This bed is great, easy to put up, and the ladder has little platforms so easier to get up and down safely. And lot's of room underneath for storage. It's also very sturdy, and I am very happy with it. My daughter on the other hand is extremely happy with it.

Make sure you are sure what end you want the opening! As it will take a lot of dismantling to change it. Bed is solid enough but joins in the middle rather than solid side lengths. Will do the job

It does state for the Argos Home Jo Mid Sleeper Bed Frame - White, the maximum mattress depth should be 16cm. This is for safety reasons any deeper will restrict the bar support to stop someone falling out of the bed.
