Disappointed
Disappointed, comparing it to an older model it replaced. Suction is good but only on max setting the low setting is pointless and defaults to this every time you use it. My hand does not even fit in the holder it’s so small. Button on top to turn it on rather than a trigger is backwards. And the worst bit is trying to unload, very fiddly, flimsy, pain in the bum feels like it’s going to snap as it jams. If it lasts half the time of the old one I will be amazed!

Dyson v8 cyclone - updated version
Nicely designed , lightweight and powerful, however the battery time is advertised as 60 minutes but doesn’t last anywhere near this. The docking station has two slots yet the tools provided with the cyclone V8 cannot both fit in it at the same time, also the brushhead feels noisier than it should. But overall good machine , easy to use although a bit more difficult tonuse on stairs unless smaller brushhead is used.

More time for something more interesting
this is going to save me so much time. With my old heavy corded hoover, it used to take me an hour and a half to clean my small bungalow. With my new Dyson V8 cyclone it takes half an hour! More time for gardening

Great easy to use and very effective
This is my second Dyson and I love it! Had the other one for years and this is an improved version. 3 super levels of suction, lightweight and easy to manage. Fixtures make it great on stairs and furniture too. Would highly recommend.

Fabulous hoover
The hoover itself is light weight, the suction is fantastic does the job. Only downside is if you use it on the red light the battery lasts 1 minute so as long as you use the other two settings it’s fine

Good choice
We always thought a Dyson was too expensive for us and something only other people had. However when our old machine reached the end of its life we had heard so many good reviews about Dyson that we decided to take the plunge. We are delighted with our choice and hope to share many years together
