Great performance, stop/start less easy
I bought this to replace one that had stopped sucking enough that was very old and didn’t hold a charge for more than vacuuming half a room. I am extremely pleased with it’s performance but much preferred a start lever to hold and let go when I wanted it to stop rather than the button on top which you need to press

Heavy Hoover
I brought this hoover around a month ago, it’s got great suction and run time however it’s very heavy compared to my old Dyson and as I suffer with back pain it’s aggravating this sadly.

Great suction power
Bought it to replace the V7. Impressed by the V8s runtime and suction power. Much better than V7. Would have like the same range of tools as V7. v8 only came with one extra

Suitable for oap
I bought this vacuum because I needed something lightweight and easy to use. It is adequate in both these areas. My biggest regret was there was not proper manual with clear instructions on how to use it with diagrams included. Not everyone has access to the on line help for this.

Great for pet hair
We bought this a few weeks ago and are so pleased we did! We have cats so pet hair is an issue. Not for the Dyson V8 though. The 3 settings are a good idea… you can feel and see the difference when you change depending on the type of clean up you need. The high power setting is an amazing! We had a Henry before, which I loved but surprisingly, it is not as effective as the V8. Fairly lightweight. Good capacity. Easy to empty. Runtime good at the moment but still be so hard to tell long term. Would recommend.

Light and easy to use
The V8 is light, simple to use a very effective. Vacuuming the house is easy and not a chore with this unit. Kept in its wall mounted holster it charges automatically and is already to use whether to clean the whole house or to quickly deal with a spillage. It feels well made and sturdy. Units clip in and out with a reassuring click and it picks up dust and debris effectively with the bin a sufficient size.

We have had this approximately a month now and very pleased. Running time on it is perfect. Its easy to maneuver. The suction on it is very good. The only thing is we have to empty it a couple of times during cleaning thats disappointing but otherwise it's great. I would recommend it.

It's suitable for deep pile carpet and rugs, and it has a de-tangling Motorbar cleaner head designed to help remove hair and ground-in dirt. It should also be fine on medium pile rugs as well.

To maintain optimal performance, remove the Dyson V8 Cyclone filter, rinse it under cold running water, allow it to dry completely for at least 24 hours, and then reinstall it.
