Very disappointing.
I bought this after reading the which? report an reading the reviews but am very disappointed. Yes, it does take longer slices like Warburtons farmhouse but it toasts one side differently to the other. I have tried all 4 slots but they all do the same. One side comes out perfect an the other is hardly toasted at all. Think about returning it.

Brilliant Toaster
Bought a new posh Haden toaster when my old cookworks broke after 5 years. Thought it would be better and it did look more modern. Was I wrong absolutely rubbish, bread wouldn't fit, toasted uneven and settings were hit and miss. Had it 3 months and binned it, bought the old trusty cookworks one again and brilliant. Toasts well, settings always consistent and Warburtons bread fits with space to spare. It's a good buy at the price.

Great, easy to use toaster
I bought this as my previous 4 slice toaster didn’t accomodate bread that wasn’t square or rectangular very easily 😂 This one does - no having to turn it on its side or upside down to get an even colouring all over. It is a very glossy black which I like and it is very easy to operate. I like it so much, I’ve just order the matching kettle 😊

Five star toaster
We had Sainsbury's toaster which was really slow and inconsistent so we decided to get a new one. Bought this one as it is the Which best buy and so far have not been disappointed. This a cheap toaster but it's Which scores are higher than many much more expensive ones and although we have only used it a few times we are extremely satisfied. Good size it takes Warburton bread on its side or vertical and looks good.

Am really impressed with this toaster (so far, owned for s week) would have chosen a 2 slot toaster but this one had larger slots (deeper) than 2 slot toasters. As a home bread maker was tired of having to cut tops off slices to fit into the toaster. The dial is easy to use snd produces consistently browned toast. Lift mechanism works well too.

No, of course you cant do cheese toasties in it. The bread sits on its side and the cheese will melt and fill the bottom of the toaster.
