Fasten the helmet, secure the pads, and wave them off knowing they're better protected as they build skills and confidence. The Challenge Kids Bike Helmet and Safety Set supports safer play as they scoot, skate or cycle around the neighbourhood. Its complete protection approach covers their head, elbows and knees during those early learning stages, whilst the striking flame pattern adds a design they'll be excited to wear. Adjustable sizing means it adapts as they grow through multiple seasons.
It's designed for children aged 5 years and over, fitting head sizes from 51 to 56cm with dial adjustment for a secure fit. The helmet includes 12 air vents to reduce heat build-up during active use. Foam padding adds comfort against the head and inside the pads. The chin strap features a quick-release buckle sized for smaller hands. Two elbow pads and two knee pads are included for additional protection during falls and bumps.

Good helmet and pad set
My mother bought these, well I bought them for her to give to my son, to prevent her from ordering a lot of stuff he doesn't need and I don't want. One year she bought him 4 different types of solar system. FOUR. When he already had one... the next year she bought him a robot that only speaks in German as a pre-set and I cannot change it. At least he is learning how to dance to German pop tunes from the 1990s. Which we can all learn from. But I digress. Now, I bought my son some skates for his birthday and bought these to go with them. These are great and easy to fasten, and provide the coverage he needs for his bike and skates. The fit is perfect because you can adjust them easily, and there is enough padding for some cushioning, without being inflexible. Whether my mother will buy my son something else that ends up cluttering the house, I don't know. I'm not sure where she buys all that from. It's not Argos. I would not be surprised if she gets him some enriched uranium as a Christmas present this year. Hopefully the instructions will be in English if she does.

Great helmet!
Love the helmet. Looks good and fits really well. The knee and elbow pads were too tight for my daughter so I passed them on to a friend. We didn’t need these anyway but if you have an older child buying the helmet and want the pads then be warned they are very small.

Unexpected knee pads.. but they were too small

Id re-measure your childs head as 51cm is very large for a 3 year old, unless there is a medical condition or disability of course. My 8 year olds head measure 54cm.
