The Habitat 16cm Aluminium Saucepan comes with a handy pour spout that helps you transfer liquids with precision, so you're not mopping up the hob every time you need to pour. With a 1.5L capacity, it's the right size for warming up liquids or stirring up your favourite sauces without taking up too much space on the hob. The non-stick coating means less scrubbing, and the tempered glass lid lets you keep an eye on what's cooking without lifting it.
It's made from aluminium inside and out for even heat distribution, and it works on any hob you've got, whether that's gas, electric, halogen, induction, ceramic or solid hotplate. The phenolic handle stays cool during cooking, and it's oven safe up to 150C when you need to finish something off under the grill. Because it's dishwasher safe, cleanup is quick and easy. This is a really good sturdy pan.

I bought this to replace an identical saucepan I have used constantly for three years. The lid is a good fit and the saucepan heats up well on my induction hob. The reason for 4 rather than 5 stars is that I do not think the non-stick coating is as durable as the Tefal coating on my frying pan.

It tells you not to use on a high heat!!!
You can't get it hot. It tells you on the packaging to gently introduce heat to it and not to use on a high heat. It's a saucepan for goodness sake, it's supposed to get hot when you are cooking.

My new Habitat saucepan is everything I hope for. Good weight, sturdy design and the usual warranty. I often buy sight unseen online but the beauty of using Argos is to be able to see and return the item easily if it's not what you wanted. I'm quite sure my new saucepan wont be returned.
