About this product
This wall clock keeps you on schedule while adding a polished finish to your wall. It's got a chrome frame that catches the light nicely and works with just about any colour scheme you've already got going. The clear plastic face protects the large numbers and hands, so you can read the time from across the room without squinting. At 29cm across, it's big enough to make a statement in the living room or hallway without dominating the space.
The quartz movement runs quietly, so you won't hear constant ticking when you're trying to concentrate or relax. It takes a single AA battery (not included), which means no messing about with wires or finding a socket nearby. The chrome finish stays looking smart with a quick wipe when it needs it, and it comes with a one-year guarantee from the manufacturer. Just hang it up, pop in a battery, and you're sorted.

Wall Clock
This was bought for the office. We have had a few clocks lately, all radio controlled and all kept stop working do decided to get a quartz one. Only had it a week but so far still working ok.
Ticktock
Very smart.
Bought to replace a failed kitchen wall clock, this nice clock did the job perfectly, blends well and looks quite handsome. All at a really good price.

Annoying Loud Tick
I don't know how Argos can describe this clock as "the tick is quiet and soft" because it is so loud I can hear it from upstairs when it is in a downstairs room. The chrome frame is a magnet for fingerprints so it has to be cleaned every time you take it off the wall to change batteries or adjust the time. The clock looks cheap as well. Disappointing buy overall.

Less is more.
It's similar but even nicer than my previous kitchen clock. I have visual disturbances, so it's essential I can see the time clearly at a glance when in the kitchen. It has large bold numbers, minute mafkings and a second hand. It isn't entirely silent, but I find its soft tick rather soothing. To have found an ideal replacement at such a bargain price was an added bonus.

Good Clock
Plain simple dial. Easy to read keeps time exactly: The steady ticking removes solitary feeling .

Hi Rachael,
The Wall Clock - Chrome has a plastic frame with a chrome coloured finish. It's not a metal frame.
Thanks for using Q&A.
It's not chrome - a solver colour but not sure what it's made of. Nice looking clock - been in my kitchen and no problems with it.
Hi there
No sorry the ticking noise can't be silenced.
You may want to consider a digital clock if you want silence?
