Easy to use and read,great price.
I needed a set of bathroom scales to record my weight before a recent hospital stay.The Salter scales looked durable and easy to read ,and were also on offer making them a good buy.I didn't want digital ,just old school scales and they were just the job.Light weight to lift.

I found the displaon these scales were not clear enough for me to read. The needle is not very accurate. I returned them and bought from Argos a different scale with a very large and clear digital display

Awful, don’t waste your money. Stepped on them 3 times and got a different reading each time. God knows how they have so many good reviews as they are rubbish

The instructions for use of the Salter Mechanical Bathroom Scales - Black state that the scales should be used on a firm, flat surface. On balance, we would say that use on carpets is not suitable however the only way to compare would be to try them out on a hard floor and then the carpet (as carpets can be variable), to see if the weights were comparable.
