Fun build, stunning model car
Our family really enjoyed building the Lego Technic McLaren F1 car together. It took us a couple of days on/off, with everyone hooked from the first brick to the last label. While some elements can be tricky, it was very satisfying to build this model car. The engineering detail is very impressive, and the final look is absolutely stunning.

Incredible detailed F1 car
Bought for my 10 year old grandson who is crazy about anything to do with F1, when he opened it he said it would take him maybe a week to build but it actually only took just over a day as he couldn’t put it down once he started. It looks exactly like the real car and is incredibly stable and the attention to detail is amazing so he is one very happy boy.

Quality detailed replica of MCL39
I have build multiple 1/8 model cars and this is my 3rd F1 car. The attention to replicating price detail is exquisite. I enjoyed this built thoroughly and what is interesting is the dimensions are slightly different to Lego f1 cars released last year. When you put this car next to the Lego McLaren 42141 you can see how much the designs have advanced. Very nice Lego! I found the side pods a little tricky, but patience persists….. and the removable engine cover makes me so happy. A lot of people do not enjoy stickers, I am agnostic on this point but if I could offer one piece of advice it would be to build the front wing entirely and then apply the stickers and the same with the engine cover. Loved this. Heading for a Mercedes next!

It is really annoying to get a review request 2 days after receipt of kit. It is a Birthday present and Birthday, as you know, is shortly. Just bad marketing and digital comms policy. Love Lego but this really annoys me

In the process of building the new MaClaren F1 car. I have been using the Lego Build app. and find it helps greatly by being able to turn diagrams around for various views. Really recommend that application.
