Apologies, no, you can only do this from big to small, not the other way around. You would need to change the ground spike to a 45mm one.

Yes, you can fix the Home Heavy Duty Multi Fit Ground Spike & Cap into the ground with concrete and it fits all 32, 35, 38, 40, 45 & 50mm diameter rotary centre poles.

I fixed mine in with concrete as it kept tilting in grass. It's quite chunky on the smaller size lines and you will have to use the all the adjusters.
