Nice DVD/cd player- recorder. Quiet in operation. However like a lot of these nowadays it feels rather flimsy. Time will tell.

This is supplied with a ‘Y’ cable, mini USB to two USB A. Both USB A need to be connected to computer unless it has USB 3 which should provide sufficient power from one connection.

Wouldn't work
Bought this to go with my new Asus laptop but turned out to have an incompatible iTunes driver, even though I'm running Windows. No way round it without compromising the security of my new laptop. Garbage. Returned for refund.

Nice external CD/DVD drive
I bought this ASU’s external drive because my new iMac doesn’t have a build in port for CDs/DVDs. So far, I am very pleased with it and have imported music from recorded CDs and have burned DVDs with my home movies. Argos sold it at a good price. It is a little flimsy because of the thin design, but it worked straight away by just plugging in.

needs software to be really useful
useful to play cds. Needs sotwsre to recird cds ir dvds on apple or windows 10. Not as functional as mac internal druve which had failed.
