About this product
The Argos Home Avalon Single Metal Bed Frame gives you a practical sleeping space that works for guest bedrooms or teenagers' rooms. There's a sturdy metal frame with thick horizontal tubes that keeps everything stable and supportive through nightly use. The black painted finish blends with most bedding colours and bedroom styles, from traditional to industrial looks. It fits a standard single mattress, so there's no need for specialist bedding. Metal slats across the base support the mattress evenly and let air circulate underneath.
The frame sits 30cm off the floor, so you can store boxes or hoover underneath without awkward manoeuvring. Metal feet spread the weight evenly and keep it stable on carpet or hard floors. It holds up to 110kg, suitable for adult use in spare rooms or teenagers' bedrooms. Arrives flat-packed with clear instructions, two people recommended for assembly. Part of the Avalon collection, designed for lasting use in everyday bedrooms.

Easy to assemble
Bought as an emergency temporary bed. Sturdy and easy to put together. Been using for almost a week and it is a bit creaky when you use the headboard.

Easy for DIY novice, very happy!
If you're wondering, like me, as a single five foot female if you'd be able to assemble a bed on your own and easily, this is for you. Delivery was super convenient and made the stress of my move that little bit lighter, and instructions for assembly were easy to read and follow, even for someone like me who is clueless! Very pleased!

Hello SJSAVER,
Argos Home Avalon Single Metal Bed Frame - Black.
The Argos Home Avalon Single Metal Bed Frame is designed to provide stability and support, but it does not include a middle support feature by default.
The bed frame features slats that can help maintain stability, but if you need additional support, you may consider using replacement rail kits designed to restore proper support and stability.
These kits can be used to add central rails or cross rails, which are essential for providing core support and keeping slats level.
If you have specific concerns about the stability of your current setup, it may be beneficial to consult with a professional or refer to the assembly instructions for further guidance.
For more detailed information, you can refer to the assembly instructions available on the Argos website.
Thank you.
