This foam cushion gives you a generous layer of support where you need it most, with a thick high-density foam base topped with memory foam that responds to your shape. The black cotton twill cover comes with 2 pairs of straps so you can secure it firmly to your seat - no shifting or sliding as you move. It is designed to fit most wheelchairs, but works just as well on your car seat or desk chair when you need extra comfort through the day.
The dual-layer construction combines firm foundational support with adaptive cushioning that moulds to your body for personalised pressure distribution. The durable cover is designed for regular use and wipes clean easily. The strap system keeps the cushion securely in place on your seat, so it stays put as you move around or transfer in and out. Wheelchair cushion
I recently purchased a Chelsfield adjustable height chair as my wife is recovering from an hip operation and medically advised from sitting in our recliners , a more comfortable seat was needed to improve periods of long-sitting , this wheelchair cushion was the correct size and thickness with memory foam topper , to fit the adjustable chair , it also has a removable cover for laundering and hygiene reasons , ergo ... my wife can now sit comfortably for an evenings viewing the TV or any time sitting for extended periods . It is an excellent product , as it should be but not just for wheelchairs . .

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Wheelchair Foam Cushion: There is no weight limit on this.
This is like having a cushion on your sofa, obviously the more weight applied to cushion the more it will squash.

"Unfortunately, I am unable to answer this question for you, as every wheelchair is different.
The dimensions of this cushion are 460mm X 401mm X 100 MM, hopefully this will help with the dimensions of the wheelchair they wish to purchase."

Yes the cover can be removed. Here are the washing instructions the supplier has sent us:
Clean your wheelchair cushion using a mild detergent with a slightly damp soft cloth only.
Do not soak the foam inner
The cover can be removed and washed at a low heat with similar colours
After cleaning leave the cushion and cover to dry in a warm dry place and not in contact with a heat source
