I bought this watch for an Xmas present and is a nice looking watch at that, but the strap is a wee bit short for the average man which makes it difficult to fix it on a wrist using the fixed strap loop. I Would recommend this watch as it’s light powered and keeps excellent time, but if you have a large wrist try it first to see if it is too small before you buy.

Brought this week. The watch was not the same colour face as shown in the argue photo, being lighter, the strap was also darker than expected. The strap is a little short, I do not have large wrists but only have 2 spare holes. The strap was very dry, and when first fitted started to show stress, I have used moisturising cream to deal with this. The stop watch function works, stops and then resets, but does not reset to zero, being half second off. The body of the watch is quite chunky but looks well made.

I bought this citizen watch just 3 weeks ago,as a watch lover I trusted citizen brand and Argos aswell, but after a couple of days it's strap was getting faded as you can see in the photo,I contacted customer service, they advised me to go to the shop I'd bought it, today I went there and the lady unbelievably was trying to prove that the strap is genuine leather ,when I told her it was my job and I can recognise fake coloured plastic from leather,SHE THEN CHANGED THE WHOLE STORY AND TOLD ME IT WAS SAID THAT THE STRAP IS COLOURED!!THEN I ASKED IF I CAN CHANGE MY MIND, SHE REPLIED, NO YOU CANT BECAUSE YOU HAVE USED IT,I said ,how could customer know this is fake without trying it???she then got more ignorant. SO STAY AWAY THIS,I don't know that how people left 5 stars for this,maybe they don't use it... And to Argos,your customer service is awful, I used to buy dryer,hoover,.....so many things beforehand, but today I understood there is no guarantees and customer services, imagine if it was a refrigerator or another big and expensive item,. So guys ,stay away from this brand and especially this "genuine leather " straps.

The case width for the Citizen Men's Chronograph Brown Leather Strap Watch will be measured from bezel edge to bezel edge (imagine measuring from 9 o'clock to 3 o'clock) and will not include the crown.

This will depend on the nature of the fault and the length of time you have had the watch. In the first instance, we would ask that you contact the manufacturer Citizen as they can offer diagnostics and advice and may offer a repair on the item. If its cannot be repaired or they are not able to offer this service, you will be referred back to Argos.
