Thumb Hurts
Opened the box to find no instructions and the main bag of screws and dowels missing. Ordered the parts through Argos which took a while as it didn’t recognise the part number. Parts came in a couple of days. Took around 3 hrs to put together on my own and cut my thumb in two places trying to pull apart the metal drawer runners which are very sharp so be careful. Looks nice once put together apart a from small chip on one of the shelves at the front which I have painted over. Overall, it looks nice now finished.

Excellent table with tricky instructions.
This is an excellent table that matched perfectly with our kitchen. As people have said, the instructions are not very clear, and the items are not numbered to match the instructions, so I made two mistakes with the assembly, which could be easily corrected thankfully. Once properly assembled the table is very stable and heavy, so it gives the impression of a quality item. Very happy with the item

Not the easiest to assemble!
Found it quite difficult to assemble but expected to be fair. Really heavy but great quality. There were also 2 small chips on the furniture which I wasn’t happy about but I kept it anyway as I already unboxed it all and didn’t want the hassle of having to box and return.

Aesthetics v practicality
The product looks very nice once assembled but unless your good at DIY I couldn't recommend it. The instruction are poor, if it had not been for the fact the colours suited our colour scheme I would have return the product.

Nice neat piece of furniture
I bought this a few weeks ago and was happy with how it went together. I managed to do it by myself but agree that there were it a couple of times when it would have been easier with a 2nd pair of hands

The internal drawer space is 62cm Wide, 22.5cm Deep, 9cm High
The lower shelf space is 65.5cm Wide, 28cm Deep, 18cm High
The middle shelf space is 65.5cm Wide, 28cm Deep, 17.5cm High
Objects placed on these shelves would need to be maximum 17.5cm high (on lower shelf) and 17cm high (on middle shelf) to leave some clearance.

"The bottom of the shelf is 140mm from the floor. The bottom of the rail is 81mm from the floor."

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Argos Home Winchester 1 Drawer Console Table - Cream: If the drawer is omitted, it will expose numerous construction fittings for the table which would normally be hidden by the drawer.
