[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This gardena pruning lopper is one of the best I've ever used it cut through branches like butter the telescopic pole made it easy to reach even the tallest branches it can be shortened or extended depending on what you need it has an easy pull handle I really would recommend this to anyone looking for a pruning lopper

Good trimmer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product cuts well, even through thicker branches. It’s a bit awkward to use and a little heavy after a while. It reaches really far which is great. It came packaged well, however did not come with any instructions so I had to look them up. It is easy to use once you know what to do.

Heavy and clunky to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I do not really rate this product at all. It was extremely heavy which made it hard to use. Also the blades opened very slowly and it was difficult to manoeuvre. Overall wouldn’t recommend it unless you are a really strong professional gardener haha.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The GARDENA Starcut Pro L was very easy to use and effective for pruning high branches. The two orange handles along the telescopic shaft gave good control at any extension length. The blades were very sharp making for very easy cuts and safe removal of high branches. Build quality is fantastic, very sturdy throughout. Overall it’s a very well designed and sturdy trimmer that made hard to reach pruning easy.

Excellent reach and clean cut

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The tool feels sturdy but lightweight so it’s comfortable to use for periods of time. It’s really simple to adjust the length allowing to tackle higher branches. There is very minimal noise involved. It has a clean cut on the branches. Overall, I would recommend this to keen gardener’s or anyone needing to trim branches easily

Great for cutting tall slim branches without needed ladders

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Gardena telescopic lopper came fully assembled and feels sturdy and good quality. It extends from 175cm to a huge 400cm meaning it's possible to reach high branches without standing on a ladder. The clips mean it can be held at any length needed. It can cut slim branches up to 32mm. It didn't come with instructions which would have been helpful for seeing all of it's possible operations but was simple enough to work out for what I needed it for. There is a sliding control on the pole for opening and closing the cutters and this was comfortable to use. There is a handle to pull at the end of the pole to control the cutter for when it is fully extended, this was more awkward to use and keep the long pole steady. It was not too heavy to use and cut the overhanging branches of a tree easily. Occasionally it was difficult to get the cutters in the correct place on the branch to cut through it as you are trying to judge it from the ground. It is quiet to use so I didn't feel i was disturbing any birds that were nesting. I would definitely recommend this product for people who want to trim trees with thin branches and high foliage without having to stand on a ladder or pay a professional.
