Argos has cheaper ink cartridges than most stores. 🙂👍 They might be cheaper online, but I prefer going to stores, see things for myself and buy them. 😊👍
However, if I only want just one cartridge (usually the black ink), I cannot buy it separately from Argos, as it is often not in store or sold out. 😳
I remember that the set was about £50 a couple of months ago, now it is £80.99! 😮 Shocking… 🫨

Genuine Epson cartridges don't always work!

The Epson XP-6105 demands 5 ink cartridges - and won't print with any less than 5! I needed to replace the cyan and others were running low so I bought a Kiwi 5-pack. The cyan worked but the magenta was not recognised. I tried everything I could see on websites, including cleaning any contacts I could see. In the end, I bought a single magenta (genuinely Epson but significantly cheaper than in the Kiwi 5-pack) from a website and - guess what - it worked. I suspect that Epson are constantly waging war on suppliers of "compatible" cartridges, which are much, much cheaper, and constantly updating their software. Occasionally, they get it wrong and don't "see" their own, genuine cartridges. Epson should be transparent and honest about their policies and their updates and explain just how much cheaper their rivals can manufacture cartridges and how they manage that!

I purchased these Epsom 202 inks for my wife’s printer. After visiting the store where I originally purchased the printer to price their printer inks I decided to buy it these inks from Argos. I found that they were substantially cheaper at Argos so I am very happy with them.

Compatible with my Epson printer, but the printer recognised the cartridges as “empty”. Tried every method on the internet, looks like faulty chip. Waste of money.
