Customers Say
Powerful and compact fan with good airflow and battery life, ideal for personal cooling. However, it is frequently criticized for being very noisy, especially at higher settings, and has some issues with neck strap design and charging cable.

Too noisy, not a discrete fan to use publicly.
Very noisy and the airflow is very narrow. Embarrassing to use in a public setting, not a discrete low volume fan. Waste of money as I, unfortunately, had to keep using my significantly cheaper Chinese handheld fan which doesn't sound like a jet engine. I regret not returning it immediately. BUT it's actually good for helping light the BBQ though!

Powerful little fan
Powerful fan, but very noisy. I’m a menopausal woman so its size is very practical. I was after the pink one but I was only able to get the red one. The string is a good feature but don’t seem to be able to get it short enough for it to functional

Great gadget.
Wish had bought earlier in heatwaves but thus little fan is brilliant, can wear round neck, pop on desk or hand held, i got caught out on not realising battery was low as it dosent tell you this, but charges fairly quickly.g

Good product
I am happy with the product, it certainly cools me down I appreciate the longer run times over others that I have tried. The noise level is slightly more than I expected. In a quiet environment others will look around to find out what the noise is, but obviously in other situations it is not noticed by others.

Noisy!
Beautifully designed and lovely to look at but too noisy even on the lowest setting to be usable

Valuable aid in fighting cancer treatment symptoms
Bought for my husband to help with hot flushes caused by cancer treatment. He’s happy! Works a treat - effective, not very noisy and reduces his hot flushes very effectively

Powerful but it’s just so noisy that’s really annoying

Hushjet, Overall a good fan.
Having used this for the last few weeks of the hot weather it has been brilliant, best used in noisy environments though as after setting two it becomes loud, setting 5 and turbo mode can definitely move some air but people will be looking, probably as loud as some hairdryers, although on the noisy underground in London it's fine. Hushjet is a bit stretch for the name it could be called actual jet. The designer almost certainly has come across from Ann Summers and when you use the stabilising base it becomes even more look alike. But overall I like it as this year's gadget gift to myself. Excellent little fan
Finally managed to get one of these and am very happy with it. Generates a good flow or air even on the lower settings and battery life seems good. Not very noisy in use and accessories are useful.

Invaluable during the heatwave
Invaluable during the hot spell on the days that I couldn’t get to the beach to cool down. Light, quiet and useful!

Hello Stewie,
The Dyson Hush Jet Mini Cool fan is bladeless and battery-powered, producing minimal electromagnetic interference.
It is generally safe to wear around the neck, but patients with pacemakers or ICDs should consult their cardiologist and avoid prolonged direct contact over the device.
Position the fan at least several centimetres below the device implant site (front chest for pacemakers, upper chest for ICDs).
